One, two, Freddie’s coming for you
To celebrate the spookiest day of the year, we bring you the Imaginary Friends Halloween Special! For this special, Erin and Bree decided to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street, one of Bree’s favourite “scary” movies. But, what makes this even better, this is Erin’s first time watching this classic 80’s monster movie. And man, does she have some thoughts.
You can also hear about how each of the women are celebrated Halloween during a global pandemic, which includes decorating Halloween trees!
We hope you enjoy this (not so) spooky episode!
Happy Halloween! If you’re all caught up with our podcast you’ll know we’ve been trying out some new ideas for Halloween fun, including each of us decorating a Halloween tree we bought from Amazon.ca! This was especially important for me since my boys won’t be heading out trick or treating this year and it’s such a big deal for them.
Bree did an amazing job decorating her little tree with some pumpkin lights, ribbon, grave stone ornaments and a super cute Mickey Mouse pumpkin tree topper!
It looks really neat next to her Disney’s Haunted Mansion themed wall!
For my tree I bought some decorations from Dollarama with the kids and they helped me get it ready for Halloween by colouring the ghosts, hanging the bat lights and stringing the felt pumpkins.
Here it is all finished.
And one in the dark so you can see the glowing bats:
This was my first experience with a Halloween tree and I must say that it was pretty fun! There was much less work to do than with a Christmas tree and the boys really enjoyed the spookiness of it.
Is there anything you’re planning to do differently this year?
